Meet Mermaid Rumi

Mermaid Rumi has been a scuba diver for over 20 years. She has a degree in biology and a passion for ocean conservation. She has worked on scientific projects with Orca scientists. She loves educating others, especially children, about the ocean and the wonderful creatures that live in it. She is also an amateur underwater photographer. Her background in education, diving, art, and dance brought her to mermaiding. She loves working with children and also volunteers at a local children’s hospital.

Current certifications: PADI Mermaid, PADI Scuba Divemaster
