Where are we located?

We are primarily based in Florida and Virginia, but we can travel to you - if you would like to arrange for us to come to your location, reach out through our contact form and let us know where you’d like us to go! We do charge travel costs for out-of-state requests, and those will be discussed with you before your booking is finalized.

There are a few primary open water locations we teach in most often:

We can accommodate most location requests as long as they satisfy the “Open Water” qualifications for the PADI Mermaid program.

What is the PADI Mermaid program?

The PADI Mermaid Program provides PADI Mermaid certifications. It ensures you will be taught certain water skills, and the certificate is your proof that you have achieved a level of proficiency. We design our certification courses to be rewarding and fun, suited to anyone who has basic swimming abilities and an interest in Mermaid diving.

“PADI” is the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, a recreational diving membership and diver training organization founded in 1966. Today, it is the world's largest ocean exploration and diver organization.

Although this experience shares techniques and equipment used in scuba and freediving, Mermaid diving (or ‘Mermaiding’) is its own form of diving. No scuba tanks are used. The PADI Mermaid Program is designed for non-divers and divers alike, as you only need basic swimming skills to enroll.

Mermaid diving is a world with one foot in reality and the other in fantasy. Mermaid lore originated centuries ago. Yet even today, the myths tickle our imaginations. Water lovers, young and old, fantasize about living as Mermaids. But unlike most fantasies, we can make this one real – well, almost real. PADI Discover Mermaid is for those with absolutely no experience with Mermaid tails. We’ll get you started safely!

If you’re a strong swimmer ready to take the next step, then PADI Basic Mermaid is perfect for you. 

Desire something slightly more challenging? Want to learn advanced underwater tricks like back flips and bubble rings? PADI Mermaid is the way to go. 

If you’re already comfortable as a Mermaid and are looking for something closer to traditional freediving, the PADI Advanced Mermaid course is what you’re looking for.
